If there's one time of year when my more-is-more decorating philosophy really comes into its own, it's Christmas! I absolutely adore this time of year, when I can indulge my love of colour, pattern, flowers and all those decorative details that make a home feel truly magical.
And this year, I'd love to invite you in to see it all for yourself.
I'm opening up my home in the Sussex countryside for an intimate day of festive inspiration and hands-on creativity. I'll share how I approach decorating my own home for Christmas, from choosing a colour palette to layering patterns, textures and beautiful finishing touches. You'll discover how to create a festive scheme that feels harmonious, full of personality and, most importantly, authentically you.
But this isn't just a day of learning decorating tips. It's an opportunity to step away from the Christmas to-do list, indulge your creative side and spend time with a lovely group of people who share your passion for making a house a home.
With just eight guests, there'll be plenty of opportunity to get involved, ask questions and enjoy a proper chat. I can't think of a lovelier way to kick off the festive season!

A Christmas home full of colour
I love nothing more than decorating for Christmas, but as you might imagine, traditional red and green isn't always my starting point! I'll show you how I develop a festive palette inspired by the colours, patterns and decorations I already love, and how to pull everything together without losing that wonderful sense of fun.
We'll explore how to create impact with colour, make the most of your existing decorations and style those often-overlooked corners of your home. Whether your taste is gloriously maximalist or a little more restrained, you'll leave with ideas you can make your own.
Getting creative with festive flowers and decorations
One of the great pleasures of Christmas is getting creative with beautiful seasonal materials. We'll enjoy a hands-on session exploring festive flowers, foliage and decorative details, guided by my personal florist, vanessa who will share her expert floristry techniques and encourage you to use plenty of imagination.
It's a chance to try something new, work with your hands and discover how to create beautiful, individual decorations rather than relying on shop-bought solutions.
No previous experience necessary, just a willingness to have a go!
Lunch, laughter and lovely company
Of course, no visit to my home would be complete without something delicious to eat! We'll sit down together for a seasonal two course lunch, with time to chat, swap ideas and enjoy the company of fellow interiors enthusiasts.
I always find there's something rather wonderful about bringing creative people together. Conversations flow, ideas spark and new friendships are made. It's one of the reasons I love hosting these intimate experiences so much.
