The Moroccan Design and Styling Retreat runs Monday 1st December to Friday 5th December 2025.

Across four days I’ll be hosting a series of mini workshops to give you an insight into my design process and the importance of colour. I’ll also be taking you to the city’s best interiors addresses. Think artisans, modern makers and everything from vintage furniture to tiles, textiles and lighting so you can imbue your own home with the magic of Marrakech.

Plus, you’ll get a chance to meet the creative team behind El Fenn to find out how they put that iconic look together that draws people in from across the world, along with their little black book of the city’s secret style spots that they love the most.

El Fenn is a dream for colour lovers, but beyond its walls, there’s a city packed with creatives doing fascinating things. I always leave Marrakech feeling supercharged and I’m so excited to share that with you. Our aim is to take you behind the scenes of Marrakech’s dynamic interiors scene and give you access to places and spaces that most visitors never see.

Prices start at €4,220 / £3,523 / $4,843 for a small room and include all meals, pre-dinner cocktails and wine with dinner, trips out & transport plus airport transfers. Flights not included. Read on for details…

Here’s an idea of what to expect:

Day 1 – Monday 1st December
Check in, enjoy lunch in the sunshine, then start discovering El Fenn on an afternoon tour with the team. Sophie will host welcome drinks and dinner on the rooftop as the sun sets over the city — the perfect chance to settle in, connect with your fellow guests and soak up your surroundings.

Day 2 – Tuesday 2nd December
Start the day with breakfast and a masterclass with Sophie on Moroccan design heritage, exploring techniques such as zellige tiling and tadelakt plaster. Then it’s off to the historic medina to visit working artisans. After lunch overlooking Djemaa el Fna square, enjoy a private tour of one of Marrakech’s most beautiful homes. Dinner will be at Villa Aaron, a traditional riad with showstopping interiors.

Day 3 – Wednesday 3rd December
Today is about colour, creativity and contemporary craft. Begin with Sophie’s signature colour workshop, then visit Sidi Ghanem — a hub of modern Moroccan design. Rugs, ceramics, lighting and art all reimagined by some of the country’s most exciting makers. After some afternoon rest, it’s back into the medina for dinner at a restaurant chosen as much for its interiors as its menu.

Day 4 – Thursday 4th December
This final full day brings everything together. Sophie will guide a session on styling and how to shop well for your own home. Then visit one of the city’s best-known interiors destinations and a trusted local carpet dealer who’ll share insights into Moroccan rug styles. After lunch, there’s a final styling workshop with Sophie and El Fenn’s artistic director. The day ends with rooftop cocktails and a final gala dinner.

Day 5 – Friday 5th December
A final breakfast and time to reflect with Sophie. What’s inspired you? What will you take home? Then it’s time to depart — or stay a little longer at El Fenn and explore more of Marrakech now that you’ve seen it through a different lens.
