Sometimes I just crush on a colour and sometimes I crush on a combination and right now I’m loving all things yellow and pink. I always try and encourage people to have fun with colour and be experimental and creative with it. This cute combination is playful, creating a feeling of happiness and delight. Yellow is the colour of optimism after all and pink can never really be taken too seriously, although together I think they can look seriously cool. Opting chalky dirty plaster pink, like Setting plaster by Farrow and Ball for example, and then slicing that with a zinging almost neon yellow is what really ticks my box! Yellow cake by Farrow and Ball or Trumpet by Little Greene are both great zesty yellows which would make a great accent in a dirty soft pink scheme.
Who said the feature wall is dead! A block of yellow in thus industrial apartment makes the space feel modern and edgy against quiet a grey pink. Walls in Sicilian lime and Pale Peony by Dulux
Pale pinks have been so fashionable interiors for what feels like forever, and it’s such a gorgeous colour to live with because it’s soft, warm and nurturing. It felt quite edgy to begin with as an interiors trend but I’d argue now that we have come to accept it as almost neutral. I’m told even the men are on board, especially with the warmer more nude pinks. Pink looks elegant with warm terracotta, sophisticated with navy and has found its perfect partnership with green. But it’s yellow that really makes it feel fresh and new again.
Colour blocking perfection by @zilverblauw who has zoned the open plan stair way in this sharp yellow. It looks sensational against the sombre concrete floor. The open plan living area has been zoned with pink walls and ceiling.
A fellow colour lover, @therachelhendersonstudio, home is a riot of pink and yellow. Rachel has found her happy colours and uses this palette throughout her home which is just brimming with feel good vibes.
Hannah at the @theottohouse uses soft pinks and warm yellows throughout her home which feels light and airy yet cosy too. I love the way she has painted the ceiling above the picture rail soft pink.
Lissi from @oxfordone uses striking black and white graphic prints to add a more masculine and modern edge to her pink and yellow scheme.

Love the combo in the second photo, very subtle and definitely complementary. I would never have thought yellow and pink would be a great combination but there are definitely some here that work great. Personally, grey and terracotta is my favourite combination. Love your blog
