My New Collection with Dunelm

Sophie Robinson X Dunelm Collection

Sophie Robinson X Dunelm: The collection has arrived!

Oh my goodness, the wait is over! My brand new collection with UK leading homewares brand Dunelm is finally here, and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you all. If you love colour, pattern, and a good dose of maximalist joy, then trust me, this collection is going to deliver everything you ever wanted and more!

Creating this collection has been such a labour of love and a real dream collaboration. For years, Dunelm has been an interior designer’s best-kept secret. They have always delivered fabulous quality and design, but I’ll be honest, you had to know what you were looking for as their offering is absolutely vast! The intention with this collaboration – which is Dunelm’s first-ever with a designer – has been to offer you a curated collection of homewares that spans across all the homeware categories, so you can mix and match and create your own maximalist look with ease, having plenty of fun along the way. And the price points make it all so very accessible.

Our high gloss twisted candle sticks kicks things off nicely at just £8, all the way up to the incredible Joylene chest of drawers with its beautiful painted floral front at £379.

Bright and colourful living room with an arm chair, sofa and art work on the walls

With over 200 pieces, with prices starting at just £8 for our twisted candle stick, this collection is a colour-lover’s dream.

A maximalist paradise

I’ve worked closely with Dunelm’s amazing in-house design team to bring my signature style to the collection, which I like to think of as playful and joyful—yet oh-so-stylish. My more-is-more approach to décor means there is lots to play with and layer up, so expect armfuls of cushions, throws, trays, lighting and rugs – allowing you to keep piling on the colour joy and making your home unapologetically you along the way.

This collection is a true celebration of my love of colour, pattern, and steeping your home in personality. From bedding and furniture to lighting and home accessories, every single item has been designed with one goal in mind – to give you the confidence to unleash your inner maximalist and create a home that makes your heart sing. Think ruffles, embroidery, fringing, beading, and bold heart-stopping contemporary prints that pop up across a whole host of goodies – all in my signature colour palette of feel-good hues.

Make it your own

This collection isn’t just about products – it’s about giving you the confidence to embrace colour and create a home that feels truly personal. I want you to mix, match, layer and have fun! Whether you’re dipping your toe into maximalism or going all-out, this collection is designed to help you make bold choices with ease.

You can use one of our signature designs, like the Sunshine Flowers, or Candy Kilim rug as the jumping-off point in your scheme and then build up the look from there – or simply choose a signature piece like the Dopamine cushion to instantly update your existing scheme. Dunelm has always been the go-to for fabulous stair runners and my mantra has always been to be braver than you dare in the hall – and now I have a collection of runners to match! It can be all you need to totally transform a bland and boring entrance with just one purchase.

Something for every room in your home

Can you tell I’ve had the most fun with this collection?! Taking the patterns and applying them to everything from bedlinen, rugs, curtains, towels and even shower curtains has been such a blast. I’ve been across every tiny detail—from inspiration for the signature patterns and perfecting the colours to approving the quality, directing the photography, and overseeing shop displays. There’s no reason why you can’t bring a little Sophie magic to any corner of your home. You can confidently mix colours and patterns across the range and multiple rooms, knowing it will all flow—because I’ve made sure there’s consistency across the colour palette and a pleasing repetition of design motifs, such as our wave design, which appears on everything from rugs to trays, bedlinen, and curtains.

Mixing patterns

Sunshine Flowers is a bold signature print in the collection, shown here in a bedding set, just £75 for a double set with pillows. With a generous ruffle and coordinating mini wave valance, this should satisfy those of you who are full-fat maximalists!

I love mixing patterns, and there are plaid checks, wave stripes, florals, zigzags, dots and geometrics to choose from. I love to mix as many patterns together as possible, and a hero print, like Sunshine Flowers means you can also play with adding plenty of colour too – really layering up the ultimate maximalist aesthetic, across textiles, rugs and artwork.

Not going to lie, this might be one of my proudest Not going to lie, this might be one of my proudest makeovers ever…
My Dad and Mary’s modern French villa was all beige tiles, white walls and zero personality. So I did what I do best: turned it into a technicolour dreamscape inspired by the countryside views outside those gorgeous bifold doors.

Inspired by early autumn leaves, emerald green fields, and piercing blue skies we set about making the inside of their home feel as joyful as the outside … now imagine all that bottled up into wallpaper, fabrics, cushions and colour-drenched furniture.

If you’ve ever thought bold colour overwhelming or that pattern was too much for open-plan spaces… this one’s for you. Because colour and pattern sings in nature, and it can work just as well in your home decor.

All wallpapers, rug and cushion fabrics are from my collection with @harlequinfw. Painting by @sophieabbottartist

End of January check-in… and yes, the struggle to End of January check-in… and yes, the struggle to stay joyful is very real right now. Dark mornings, grey skies, energy running low.

That’s exactly why our homes matter so much at this time of year. They are our sanctuary. The place that should lift your mood, calm your nervous system and make you feel held when the outside world feels a bit, how can I put this...relentless. And this isn’t just a feeling or a design philosophy. It’s backed up by science. Research shows that colour, light, beauty and nature in our homes have a direct impact on mood, wellbeing and happiness. Small, intentional changes really can shift how you feel day to day.

I’d love to know… what brings you the most joy in your home right now? A colour, a room, a plant, a view, a ritual? Share it in the comments 💛
