6. Keeping up my cold water swimming routine as it gets colder is keeping the dopamine topped up!
7. Bought my first set of crystals. Mid life challenges is urging me to explore all kinds of ways to support me mentally, physically and emotionally and so far I’m liking the results!
8. Busy month over on the blog where I discuss my love of yellow as a decorating colour, following Dulux Colour of the year announcement.
9. Me and my lovely Mum and brother. Finding strength from those that love me the most!
10. Hanging onto the last of the garden flowers! This has been the first summer with my flower beds and they have bought me untold joy! Gardening is going to be big in 2025 I think!
11. Launched my new online course ‘How to create a maximalist interior’ and have loved welcoming new faces into my design community! #banthebeige
12. The big wardrobe change over! All my pretty summer dresses have been vacuum packed away and out with the knitwear and cosy socks! I’ve put my seasonal wardrobe updates in the newsletter.

A welcome look back at the last year as I enter into my next decade! There has been some incredible career highs and it’s been wonderful to take you all on the colourful ride! This year has seen opportunity for travel and fresh perspectives. I’ve launched collections with @harlequinfw @johnlewis @dfs bringing my unstoppable passion of colourful maximalism to the masses! You’ve been with me every step of the way, pushing me to do my best and to keep bringing the joy and optimism that comes with creating a home you love. You are the most amazing, supportive, positive community I could ever wish to hang out with so thank you from the bottom of my heart.
The next decade looks set to be the best yet and one of supreme self growth. I’m already on the road but I’ve got some huge challenges to overcome but as ever I’ll continue to move forward with optimism and gratitude and keep on manifesting my best life! 🙌 and sharing my love for beautiful interiors, and my mission to help you create a home you love. It’s the foundation to everything 🏡

Creating my dream kitchen was a life long ambition of mine and I went all out celebrating my personal
love of maximalism. By embracing bold colour and pattern, and then filling it with art and objects brought my unique personality to it. Here are a few things I found work

- embrace colour on cabinets as this is where you can a achieve the most impact
- A beautiful wallpaper adds pattern but also anchors the colour palette
- Don’t be afraid to add more pattern across worktops, curtains and rugs
- Open shelving is the perfect place to display art and objects that reflects your style.
- Decorative lighting including lamps, wall lights and pedants add atmosphere and more decoration, pattern and colour so don’t just rely on ceiling spot lights.
